Corrections & Retractions

(1) General situation: Articles published in print version are considered the final version. Chinese Journal of Contemporary Pediatrics generally does not make corrections or retractions for published articles. Corrections or retractions may only be made when necessary.

(2) If an article contains unintentional scientific errors that do not significantly affect the research results or core conclusions, the editorial office will promptly issue a correction notice in the journal. The correction notice will specify the exact changes made to the original article and clearly indicate the article’s citation information. Chinese Journal of Contemporary Pediatrics will publish a revised version of the article with the correction notice, indicating the date of the update.

(3) Retraction: The editorial office will retract an article and publish a retraction statement under the following circumstances:

① When the article contains serious scientific errors that render the results and conclusions unreliable;

② When an article is found to involve academic misconduct, plagiarism, violation of medical ethics, duplicate publication, or serious deficiencies in the manuscript submission or publication process. In such cases, the article will be retracted with a retraction statement, which will be linked to the original article in relevant databases.
